Hungary opens exhibition and trade center in Waigaoqiao

The Hungary National Exhibition and Trade Center opened in Waigaoqiao area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone last Thursday.

The center was jointly invested by more than 50 Hungarian companies and Chinese e-commerce giants such as Eternal Asia and JD.com.

It will display and sell Hungarian wines, including those made from Botrytis and Bikaver grapes, mineral water, honey, chocolates, oatmeal, fruit juicy, dairy products, cookies and biscuits, candies, cooking oil and bakery materials.

Hungarian trade officials said they are now negotiating with the FTZ authorities about selling Hungarian goose down products, suitcases and cosmetics.

They said the center will also promote investment in Hungary, immigration business, education programs and tourism.
