Shanghai bonded area disinfects imported goods free of charge Updated: 2022-03-25

Beginning March 23, the administration of the Waigaoqiao Bonded Area in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone has partnered with CL Supply Chain Management Group (CLSC) to disinfect imported goods free of charge.

The service is accessible from 9 am to 6 pm on working days for companies registered or operating in the bonded area and CLSC clients. The goal of the service is to cut disinfection expenses and reduce the danger of COVID-19 transmission from goods to person.

CLSC was established in 2006 and has become a one-stop logistics management company that focuses on trade facilitation.

The free disinfection service is provided by CLSC's subsidiary Shanghai Geili Logistics Co, which incorporates disinfection into a closed-loop management system for customs clearance, storage, and transportation.

Every day, the company can disinfect 60 20-foot equivalent units. Containers can be disinfected manually or automatically the same day they enter the warehouse, and a disinfection certificate can be obtained the next day.
